After 30 + years in massage practice, and seeing lots of massage therapists use Essential oils, yet I never ventured into this arena, until…… In 2015, I had a heel spur and a friend, into oils, brought me a roller bottle of Essential Oils and I rolled my heels every night and used a low grade ultrasound wand to press the oils, deeper, into the heel. After some great & quick relief, I was impressed and wanted to know more about Essential Oils!
As my Essential Oil Education has expanded, I have been provoked to ‘CLEAN UP’ my life and practice. I started evaluating the massage creams I was using on clients AND looked into the toxicity of my laundry detergent used on the sheets for my clients. I started realizing there are toxic elements in most of the things in my home; Dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, air fresheners, toothpaste, hand soap, hand sanitizers, WOW, the list is endless. But, I started with a “clean” laundry detergent from Young Living, so that no toxins are absorbed by my clients as their skin is in contact with the sheets. Then I moved to a non-GMO, organic, glycophate-free tested Coconut Oil as a base and then add Essential Oils as needed for an individualized, specific blend for each client’s need. (whether that be stress reduction, pain relief, cramping, headache, etc..)
I have discovered Young Living to have so many wonderful products to aid my quest to remove toxins from my life and so many products to promote health. With my own diagnosis of cancer February 2019, I have made some very drastic changes in my diet & supplements and the Young Living supplements & Oils have been a HUGE contributor to my health regime. I am so excited about it that I want to share with everyone so they can experience the same healthy results.
Essential Oil use is on the rise in the US & around the world. One will find them everywhere; Pharmacies, retails Stores, specialty shops and on-line. But the quality of the oils is vastly different. It is IMPERATIVE that one uses high quality oils or there can be negative health consequences/allergies/reactions.
SOURCING, SCIENCE, & STANDARDS
Young Living’s Standards far exceed the typical standards of Essential Oil production. Young Living has a “Seed to Seal” guarantee of quality. Young Living owns many of the farms and or has contracts with farms (but they must meet YL standards) Global Farms
