Lymphatic Massage

Lymphatic Drainage is a light, gentle stroke to stimulate the lymph system. The lymph system is about 4 times slower than the circulatory system.  The massage is done as small little, light movements to route the lymph to it’s excretion points (groin or axillary areas of the arm)  Abdominal/Intestinal massage is used in conjunction with the lymph stimulation to ensure an adequate excretion of the toxins that the  lymph system is carrying.  This technique is used for swelling or sluggish elimination, or simply to stimulate the lymph system, thereby cleansing and reinforcing the immune system strength.  This technique is often  used with those whom have had mastectomies to aid in the decrease in fluid retention in their arms.
